## Bending - Long Knives & Pressure Bars

The bending of tools can be caused by in-appropriate regrinding by the customer.

Reasons can be various:

1. Poor grinding machine condition  
2. Aligning of the knives on the grinding machine  
3. Wrong grinding parameters  
4. Overheating of the cutting edge during resharpening

**To reduce the bending of Long knives & Pressure bars we recommend:**

ad 1) Check grinding machine conditions and maintain / repair, if necessary
