## Breakage (cutting knives)

**How do cutting knives break?**

If cutting knives made of powder-metallurgical steels are set too deep into the cutting bar, there is a risk that they will break.

 

**How can this problem be prevented? **  
Adjust the depth of the knife into the cutting bar.

**Tip**:   
Tooth depth + 0.2 mm
