The principle of ths eKnife is based on a re-useable cutting blade concept. The body or holder is multiple useable, the wear is concentrated onto the mechanical fixed blade only.
The blade is available in different material grades, re-grindable and re-useable. The operator stays independent and fully flexible to the personal needs and demands. The blade can be serviced up to 10 times and is re-sharpened independent from the knife holder. By separating the holder and the blade in the service, a weight reduction up to 90 % can be achieved. This makes knife service costs significant lower.
