- Shear blades wear out during usage. Sporadic premature wear may occur. This means: the cutting edges round off very strongly after a short period of use.
- The root cause may be incorrectly selected knife material or low hardness.
- However, it is also possible that incorrect system settings may be the root cause.
- In case of wrong knife material or hradness, there is no possibility of reworking. The shear blades must be replaced.
- In case of incorrect system setting, the paramters must be adjusted. The shear blades could be re-sharpened and could be used again.
